100% recommend Ellis and Gryf from Frosties Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning! We came across Frosties completely by chance when Ellis picked something up from our house. The bright blue van with its fun Frosties signage caught my eye, and his friendly introduction, big smile and easy conversation made a great first impression. I asked about air conditioning, and Ellis happily took a look, explained our options and suggested where the units could go. He gave us a ballpark price there and then, and a week later, we had two air conditioners installed at a fantastic price! Brothers Ellis and Gryf own and run Frosties, and their personal approach and care really show. They did exactly what they promised and were punctual, reliable and efficient, with excellent communication from start to finish. Both were a pleasure to have around, with plenty of good humour along the way. We’re absolutely delighted with our air conditioners. Called them out to repair my split ac system and received a prompt response to my call, coming the following day, system fixed and was surprised with the reasonable cost for the work and time that was involved in my job. It was great to meet such honest and hardworking tradesmen. Our restaurant in Mornington had a freezer room breakdown and they arrived quickly, were very friendly from the start, and had it fixed within a couple of hours. Excellent service, I’d highly recommend them not only for restaurants but also for domestic households if you ever have freezer or air conditioning issues. Called Frosty's when our AC wasn't working in our new office, thinking it just needed re-gassing. Ellis came out, quickly diagnosed that the whole unit had failed, and gave us a few good replacement options with a quote on the spot - no charge for the visit. We have just had our evaporative system removed, roof repaired by Glen, and two old split systems replaced with sleek, efficient new units and a new unit installed in our bedroom. Ellis and Gryf were amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they even removed an old blind from the upstairs window for no extra cost. HIGHLY RECCOMEND My evaporative cooler failed in the middle of summer christmas holidays, called around and most other companies closed. Found Frosties who offer year round service, they were on site within the hour & diagnosed the issue to be a faulty thermostat, they had a thermostat on them. The team replaced 1 unit and done 3 new complete installs. They are well organised and they took all rubbish with them. Very pleased with quality of workmanship and how professional they were.
